Distilia, a leading bottler of high-quality rum, is proud to announce that it has received two prestigious awards at the World Rum Awards 2023. The annual event, which recognizes the best rums from around the world, featured entries from some of the most respected bottlers in the industry.
Distilia’s The Golden Age of Piracy New Yarmouth 1994 27yo “Rogers” is the World’s Best Pot Still 2023. It was awarded the Style Winner and Gold award in the Category “Pot Still, 11 Years & Older,” while the Greenheart Collection Enmore REV 1994 28yo rum received a Silver award in the same category.

Our rum series “The Golden Age of Piracy” tells the history of famous pirates (and privateers). We matched unique single cask rums with rich and distinctive personalities. “Rogers” New Yarmouth 1994 27yo is a single cask, Full Proof Heavy Jamaican Rum. It was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2022 at cask strength 67,1%.
The Greenheart Collection is a tribute to the last two original Wooden Pot Stills in the world. Versailles – Greenheart Collection was produced when the alembic belonged to the Enmore distillery. Enmore REV 28yo is a single cask, Single Wooden Pot Still rum. It was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2022 at cask strength 50,2%.

The World Rum Awards 2023 were judged by a panel of experts from the spirits industry, who evaluated each entry based on its aroma, flavor, and finish.
