Romdeluxe produce the Wild Series Rum. Labels and boxes are decorated with pictures of wild animals. Wild Series Rum No. 14 – Trinidad, Water Buffalo

As you can see on our labels, we have replaced the cats with other wild animals from the savanna. The first animal is a Bubalus bubalis or in English Water Buffalo. This rum edition comes from Trinidad Distillers Limited, it is 12 years old and has an ABV of 64.7%. It was both tropically and continentally aged. First, it was lying for 10 years in ex-bourbon cask, in the cellars under the distillery. These cellars are built of brick to provide a coolness that makes the rum mature more slowly and gentler than usual under the Caribbean sun. Subsequently, it has been stored in Europe until it was bottled in April 2021.
No sugar or color has been added to this rum. Aroma: notes of vanilla, caramel, coffee beans, candied fruit and oak. Taste: Dense and complex. Notes of oak, coffee, caramel, vanilla.

Wild Series Rum No. 15 – Enmore, Elephant

This very special bottling comes from the Versailles distillation still, which is the only remaining single pot still made of wood that is still in commission. The rum was distilled in 1988 while the distillation still was located at the Enmore distillery. The distillery was closed in 1994 and the still ended up at the Demerara distillery as a result. From this you get a really soft and warm rum. Due to the long aging, this rum is really powerful and intense.
With aromas of plum, roasted caramel, dark brown sugar, dried fruit, tobacco and wood. Added caramel color.

Wild Series No. 16 – Martinique, Zebra

This very special bottling process comes from Distillerie du Simon, Martinique, which is known for producing rum for several major brands. Out of which Clemént and A1710 are probably the most notable products. It is based on fresh sugar cane juice and it is the first agricole rhum in the Wild Series rum. This rum has all the typical fresh notes, which are so fascinating in rhum agricole.
Aromas include notes of fresh sugar cane, green grass and hay.
Tasting notes: green apples, pepper, vanilla, sugar cane, mild fruity notes and a bit of wood.

Wild Series Rum No. 17 – Jamaica, Rhino

This bottling is dedicated to Romdeluxe 5-year anniversary which was celebrated in July 2021.
The first Wild Series Rum, an almost legendary Tiger from the Trelawny area of Jamaica, was launched two and half years ago. The challenge was to make an even wilder rum.
Therefore Romdeluxe chose to fill up 200 liters of unaged Jamaican DOK in an old Caroni cask and aged it there for another 15 months.
As a result, they get a rum with a very high ester content, 1500-1600 gr/HL, and an ABV of 86.2%.
