Der Geschmack des Whiskys wird jedoch auch von lokalen Merkmalen beeinflusst, die ihm seinen einzigartigen Charakter verleihen. \u003cstrong\u003eQuellwasser aus den vulkanischen Hügeln von Asama,\u003c\/strong\u003e eisige Winter und heiße Sommer spiegeln sich im Geschmack dieses Getränks wider und machen es wirklich einzigartig. Karuizawa ist sehr reichhaltig und aromatisch mit einem ausgeprägten Sherryprofil.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eKaruizawa \u003cstrong\u003eproduzierte Whisky in kleinem Maßstab\u003c\/strong\u003e und konzentrierte sich hauptsächlich auf den heimischen Markt. Dies dauerte von der Gründung 1955 bis \u003cstrong\u003ezur Einstellung der Produktion im Jahr 2000.\u003c\/strong\u003e Obwohl kein Whisky mehr produziert wird, waren noch einige Fässer übrig, deren Zahl jedoch jedes Jahr abnimmt. Derzeit gibt es weltweit nur noch 300 Karuizawa-Fässer.
