With an angels’ share almost as high as 80%, in every way, in terms of both aromas and flavours, this version takes pains to express the empyreumatic style so characteristic of \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/caroni\"\u003eCaroni\u003c\/a\u003e. Nonetheless, avoiding caricature at all costs, it is also very exotic (mango), chocolate, spicy, floral and fruity (raspberry). With an angels’ share as high as 80%, this version invites us to a constant battle between the hydrocarbon notes for which this spectacular, inspired and moving rum is renowned and incredibly intense fruity and floral tones. Enthusiasts, rest assured, however, although the intense, almost exuberant fruit and the ardently spicy and medicinal character of the flavour and aroma palette are undeniable highlights of the tasting, the DNA of this particularly archetypal traditional rum has not been changed completely.
