Currently, Château Garreau, also known as the Gayrosse estate, stretches over more than 82 hectares and spans the departments of Landes and Gers, featuring the so-called “pale sands” (sable fauves), highly prized by Armagnac producers. Some parts of the land consist of oak forests and ponds, with 27 hectares dedicated to Armagnac vineyards. The family owns over a century-old cellar where barrels of eau-de-vie are stored.
