A rare vintage Ardbeg single malt, distilled on 16 March 1973 and bottled more than three decades later as an official Distillery Bottling. This exceptional single-cask release comes from Bourbon Hogshead #1143 and was limited to just 216 bottles.

Distilled during an important period in Ardbeg's history, this whisky spent many years maturing in a single bourbon hogshead before being bottled on 22 December 2004. At 49.3% ABV, it retains a substantial strength while representing a fascinating snapshot of Ardbeg from the early 1970s.

With its rare vintage, single-cask origin, limited outturn, and official distillery bottling, this is a highly collectible example of historic Ardbeg.
