The first release in the Distilia Essentials Calvados collection comes from La Cave Normande and carries the prestigious Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Domfrontais. Distilled in 2015, this exceptional Calvados matured for 8 years before being bottled in 2024 from a single cask at its natural cask strength of 56.2% ABV.

Produced from the traditional orchards of Domfrontais, where pears play a defining role alongside apples, it reflects one of Normandy's most distinctive Calvados styles. Slowly distilled in traditional copper column stills and patiently matured in oak, it captures the freshness of the fruit while gaining elegance and depth through time.
