Dalmore Astrum 1966 40 Year Old 42.0% - Gonzalez Byass Sherry Finish
Dalmore Astrum 1966 is a 40-year-old single malt distilled in 1966 and bottled as a Distillery Bottling. Matured in American white oak before receiving a Gonzalez Byass Sherry Finish, this vintage Dalmore combines long maturation with a specifically identified sherry finishing stage.
Bottled at 42.0% ABV, the Dalmore Astrum was released in a limited edition of just 500 bottles. Its 1966 vintage and 40-year age statement place it among the distillery's historic mature releases, while the defined cask programme gives this expression a distinctive place within the Dalmore catalogue.
The combination of American white oak maturation and Gonzalez Byass Sherry Finish is an important part of the identity of the Dalmore Astrum 1966. Together with its limited production, vintage designation and four decades of maturation, these details make it a notable collector's expression of mature Dalmore single malt whisky.
