This Karuizawa 1990 single malt was distilled at the historic Japanese distillery and matured for 19 years before being bottled in 2009. Released to commemorate the Whisky Live 10th Anniversary, it was drawn from a single Sherry Butt, Cask #6446, giving the whisky a clearly defined vintage and cask identity.

Bottled at 60.0% ABV, this Karuizawa 19 Year Old offers the combination of a mature 1990 vintage, single-cask maturation and full-strength bottling. Cask #6446 forms the individual identity of the release, while the Sherry Butt places it among Karuizawa's classic sherry-matured single malt expressions.

As a Distillery Bottling, the whisky was bottled by Karuizawa itself rather than an independent bottler.
