Distilled in 1996 from molasses at the Caroni distillery in Trinidad, it was selected and bottled by independent bottler Velier in 2016. The rum has an incredibly high angel share of more than 85%, making it a truly unique offering. Its aromatic profile features a blend of tar, wood, vanilla, menthol, and almond notes, while its flavors are marked by woodiness, tar, vanilla, astringency, and leather.
