The newest additions to the Music! Series are three fantastic rums whose names and themes pay an homage to the unique phenomenon of Caribbean music: Caroni 1997 Rapso, Caroni 1997 Burrokeet, and Caroni 1998 Chutney. All of them are single cask and cask strength rums (ABV 60.3%, 60.1% and 63.5%). The first two were bottled as 21 YO, and the third one as 20 YO spirit. The number of marketed bottles is strictly limited and amounts to 227 for Rapso, 229 for Burrokeet, and 209 for Chutney.
This new edition of magnificent spirits comes from Caroni, the famous distillery on the Trinidad island. It operated for more than eighty years, and stopped producing new rums in 2002. The rich and complex spirits produced by this unique distillery are famous among connoisseurs around the world. Every year fewer and fewer casks remain in Caroni, and with each passing season the chances of getting your hands on another bottle become slimmer.
The theme of this new series is Caribbean music. Colorful clothes, energetic rhythm, mesmerizing dance moves and the sound of instruments are integral to the Caribbean culture alongside its excellent, internationally acclaimed rum.
