Glen Grant Distillery produced this exceptional Scotch whisky in 1948, bottled in 2014 after aging for 66 years in cask #1369. With a moderate strength of 46,6%, only 160 bottles were produced. Type: Decanter.
Glen Grant 1949 67yo Old Gordon & MacPhail
Distilled at Glen Grant Distillery in 1949, this remarkable Scotch whisky was bottled in 2016 after maturing for an impressive 67 years in cask #187. With a moderate alcohol content of 45,2%, a limited production of 196 bottles showcases its rarity. Type: Decanter.
Glen Grant 1950 65yo Gordon & MacPhail
Crafted at Glen Grant Distillery in 1950, this exceptional Scotch whisky underwent a 65-year aging process in cask #2747 before being bottled in 2015. The modest alcohol strength of 59,3% complements its exclusivity, as only 218 bottles were produced. Label type: Crystal Decanter.
Gordon & MacPhail
Founded in 1895, Gordon & MacPhail has been bottling single malt whiskies for 120 years and by the 1950’s it held the largest range of bottled malt whiskies in the world. Many of them have become legends. Over the last years the company was proud to present to the public some of the world’s oldest whiskies – way above 60 year old.
The presented above bottles are one of the oldest single cask whiskies in the world. They were distilled within the walls of the Glen Grant distillery and then matured in sherry casks. Each decanter is numbered and comes with a special wooden box. Another feature of this collector’s edition is a book written by Charles MacLean, published especially for the occasion.
