Dwarf Poinciana blooms all year round on the Barbados, the island where this rich and complex rum was born. The butterfly attracting flowers are brilliant red-orange, yellow or dark pink, depending on the variety. They have the colours of Caribbean sunset, and they became one of the symbols of the whole Barbadian community.
The dwarf’s bloom is nowadays the national flower of the country, where the plant is known as “Pride of Barbados”. The people of Barbados are proud of rums distilled on this paradise Caribbean island, just like they are proud of the Dwarf Poinciana. So, find the right moment and with no rush feel the taste of this tropical treasure.
It is a limited release consisting of only 257 bottles of exquisite design. It will be available only over Catawiki’s platform over a series of dedicated auctions. The project is Distilia’s second bottling prepared exclusively for Catawiki. It is also the second of the Floral Rum Series.
