Rosebank, a prized single malt from the Lowlands, was once in the running for the prestigious Classic Malts series in 1988. However, it was replaced by Glenkinchie due to tourism considerations. After its closure in 1993, Ian Macleod Distillers took over, harboring intentions to revive this iconic distillery.
